Four goals from captain Ramone Waite, two from Damion Lowe and two from Dorado Phipps, ensured that Camperdown ended their first round fixtures in style.

Although there was only a handful of hardcore Camperdown supporters, the boys in red and blue entertained with a spirited performance. The coach, past student Orlando Clarke, gave a chance to several players who had not played in the earlier games, to show their stuff. It did not affect the outcome much as substitute  goalkeeper Craig, was efficient between the sticks.

The Senior netball girls moved one step closer to qualifying for the second round today, when they defeated Kingston Technical High, 38 - 12.

Camperdown could not hold on to their lead in the dying moments of their game against STATHS on Saturday.

Although Camperdown scored twice to put their team ahead twice in their away game at STATHS, a goalkeeping error put them out of the competition for this year.

The team should be congratulated however, for the organised way they carried out their duties in putting Camperdown in the position of contenders, in a very competitive zone.
