NETBALL UPDATE

In their second match of the season, Camperdown faced a formidable opponent in Ardenne on the school grounds.

Many thanks to the large support from the students, the teams managed to win both games. Although the scores were low, we are still grateful for the effort. Final scores: Juniors 19 - 9, Seniors: 15 - 12.

TEACHER OF THE YEAR

Our teacher of the year for the period 2007 - 2008 Mr. Dennis Webster, teacher of music and Dean of discipline, will journey to New York on Thursday. There he will attend the New York chapter of the past students, annual reunion dinner. This will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2009.

Every year the New York chapter invites the teacher of the year to the reunion.

The teacher of the year for 2008 - 2009 is Mr. Lincoln McFarlane, teacher of Biology and chemistry, and Head of the science department.

CAMPERDOWN SUFFERED THEIR FIRST LOSS IN THE MANNING CUP

On Saturday Camperdown played STATHS at Vauxhall. A sluggish looking team allowed one goal from from their opponents to decide the result. Camperdown 0, STATHS 1.
